Hospice Music Therapy's "Pain Relief" Audio CD

Specially designed using the latest research concerning music for the treatment of chronic pain, this collection of soothing songs is optimal for many hospice needs. "Pain Relief" features seven songs that feature a unique harmonic structure designed to both sooth and provide pain relief. All the songs on this CD were designed with a very low tempo, minimal elements of percussion, and a reduced tonal range which make this ideal music for use when death is near.

The Hospice Music Therapy titles "Pain Relief" and "Deep Relaxation" were used in Northwestern University's 2009-10 music therapy study.

All songs are loop-able, which means that each individual track can be played repeatedly without disturbing the listener. The tracks on this CD were composed primarily using the following: guitar, harp, violin, natural sounds (rain, waterfall), chimes, and ambient elements.
